One in six Canadians over the age of 12 need mental health care, but half of them never receive the support that they need. Part of the problem is that they can’t afford the cost of therapy.
In Ontario, there are several clinics that can help fill this gap by offering free appointments for youth and young adults. These clinics are not intended to offer crisis support and in some cases, may have a waitlist. Most of these clinics offer in-person services, with the majority located in Toronto or Ottawa.

Does Resolvve offer free therapy?
Resolvve does not currently offer free therapy, but we do have low cost options. Sessions with a highly supervised student intern cost $30 while the cost of our other therapists start at $100.
If you are a university or college student in Ontario — your student health insurance may cover the entire cost of several therapy sessions. You can learn more about your insurance plan here. We also offer a free 15-minute consultation so that you can see if a particular therapist is right for you.
