St. Lawrence College offers four different insurance plans for students. Only one of these plans provides coverage for mental health services. Currently, it only covers sessions with a psychologist, who you are referred to by a doctor. The plan covers 80 percent of the cost of individual sessions for up to $300 per year.

Make sure to mention to your therapist at the start of your session that you want us to do direct billing on your behalf.

In some cases, your insurance will only cover part of the session. After we've charged your insurance company, you should see your remaining balance on your Jane patient profile.
